ADVANCED CRITIQUE PLEASE!!!!
so i got my tablet yesterday, and i did this as practice. it looks extremely unrealistic, so any advice or critique would be greatly appreciated  i'm using a wacom graphire 4 XL with photoshop cs3 extended. *edit* i completely changed the iris, now it's more detailed, and i also added some subtle texture to the skin. click download for a layered psd of the image. still want critique! *edit2* i did some MAJOR touch-ups this time, goin by  's advice and doing some blending. the smudge tool is the shit! i also made the colours in the eye a lot more subtle, as well as the glare this is how it looked after the first edit: [link] here it is in brown: [link] and in blue: [link] still downloadable as a layered psd, and yes, i still want critique  Comments

It's so... shiny... Uh, there probably needs to be more blending between the different colours in the irises. But... IT'S SO SHINY!!! -- I SUPPORT BOB BRYAR'S SOLO PROJECT!!! The skin looks as if it's the proccess of step 2-3. Coloring and part shading. The hair looks pretty good so far, and like what ~mangocheesecake said, you may need a bit more of a highlight on the irises too.
